Tracie, it's working really well for me. I even made some little checkmark magnets to put on the things I've completed for the day. I'm going to have to add some more magnets for library and scouts soon! My 6 year old likes being able to look at the list and see what's left, too!

blueviolet, I'm so sorry I missed your comment! I think there are ways to catch IP's through blogger, but I don't know what they are! Girl Gone Mom at http://girlgonemome.com knows of something, I think. I get so angry when people try to cheat! Keeps me up at night.

I love it! I might just have to try that myself.

The traditional organizers activate my OCD and I feel the hives coming just thinking about having to mark out and write in plans on different days when life gets in the way!

However it works for you is the way to go. It matter not how neat, right?!!!

PS. I saw your comment about cheaters. I'm wondering if there are any particular offenders I might be looking out for (since I don't have WP). I'm starting to get suspicious of a couple. I wonder if there's a way to log IP's as a Blogger blog.

If I were to have that set-up, this is what would happen:
While in the bathroom or doing something else, baby pushes chair up to refrigerator and chews up the magnets and one of the cats bats the chewed up wad around the kitchen until it gets lodged under the fridge, where things lurk that shall not be spoken of.

I've thought about buying the planners, but I don't because I know how it will all end - with me writing their subjects on the back of an envelope and scratching through them until we're left with Latin and those subjects that they're not doing in school anyway. At that point, it's a wash anyway.

But since my oldest is going to be "in middle school" this year, I'm really convicted about getting my ADD under control and getting to a more strict schedule and a regimen of accountability. I'm trying to look forward to the new me.

LOL, I love it! I have pretty much the same thing for my classes, but I do all planning on the computer. I designed my own lesson plan book layout using Word. If the kids need a little more time on a skill, an activity runs over, or I just change my mind altogether all I have to do is cut and paste what didn't get done to another day. I'm "all crafty and stuff" when my hands are cooperating. Lemme think about a way to doll that up ;-)
