I see that a few wonderful people have signed up for Swagbucks using my link! I’m thrilled that you’ve done that, but now none of you seem to be actually searching the web with Swagbucks. WHY, oh, why would you not go to Swagbucks instead of those other search engines that give you NO cut of their ad money when you visit them? Maybe you forgot about it? Maybe you don’t search much. I don’t know, but I’m here to help! Here are a few tips for making the most of your Swagbucks account. First, if you haven’t already, sign up!
The easiest way to rack up those bucks and start winning prizes is to download the toolbar. Then ignore your Goohoo search bar for the rest of your life. Those losers don’t even say “thank you” for all the ad revenue you bring them, let alone give you a cut of the proceeds.
Now here’s where you have to make a behavioral change, but don’t worry; it’s not hard! A few days ago, I talked to a girl about Swagbucks and she said–I’m not kidding–”I never search.” Smart girl, too. I guess there’s just nothing left for her to find out–even if it’s just a doctor’s phone number or a restaurant review.
If you really want to win lots of Swagbucks, you’re going to need to cultivate a healthy (or not) curiosity. For instance, this morning I was watching my 16 month old crawl around while rubbing her forehead across the carpet (yeah, my kids are flippin’ brilliant!), and I thought “Now, didn’t I once read about a disease in sheep that causes them to rub themselves on trees and the ground all day?” Most people would just let it go at that, but I, money-grubber that I am, decided to turn my curiosity into cash. Bingo! 12 Swagbucks, just for finding out about prion diseases!
Here are a few tips to help you win faster:
- After you download the toolbar, you have a chance to win a random number of Swagbucks every time you open your browser. No work required.
- Every day, you can win between 1 and 3 Swagbucks by clicking on Special Offers and skipping through the ads. (You can, of course, accept any offer you’re interested in!)
- There are often Swaghunts and free Swagcodes that you can find by reading the Swagbucks blog, following Swagbucks on Twitter, and becoming a Swagbucks fan on Facebook.
- You can use the Swidget on my sidebar (to the right) to find Swagcodes, too. Just click the little button that says “SC”. Sometimes you get lucky.
- Don’t just sit there and search random things over and over for an hour. It has to be honest searching, and they have ways of making you sorry for cheating. You won’t win more just because you search more. But you can’t win at all if you don’t search at all! Make sense?
- Everytime you search with Swagbucks, an angel gets its wings.
So you see, this is not hard. If I’m doing it, you can just about count on there being very little work involved. The key is to just use the tools you have so graciously been given by the kind folks at Swagbucks. So, please, friends, could you start searching now? I need gift cards to fund my kids’ educations. I’m not making a single buck off you if you don’t make a few for yourselves! Here’s the sign-up link again, if you’re interested:

Thank you for that!
This is going to sound stupid, but I kept hearing about Swagbucks on Twitter and could never figure out what people were talking about.
Now I think I get it, and I’m going to click through! So thank you!
